Translate Using WPML

Cookie bar & String Translation #

Step 1: To translate strings navigate to WPML String Translation Look for admin_texts_adl_lp in “In Domain”.

Step 2: Click on the + icon in the country flag column to add your language strings and hit Enter.

Template Translation #

Legal Pages uses the default WordPress content-type “Pages”. Therefore translation process is similar to any other WordPress page translation. You can either translate the pages using the traditional method from the Pages menu or from the translation management dashboard.

Popup Translation #

After creating a popup follow the process below to translate it into multiple languages

Step 1: Go to All Popups Click on the + icon in the country flag column to add your translation

Step 2: Add the translation text to the translation box and click “Save and Complete”

Step 3: Go to All Popups New Language (In my case it’s Bengali) Copy the newly generated shortcode

Step 4: Go to Pages Existing Popup page in English (That you created earlier for the English language) Click on the + icon to add your translated texts.

Step 5: Paste the new shortcode that you copied in Step 3 in Pages New Language (In my case it’s Bengali)

That’s it! You have successfully completed the translation process and you now have a multilingual popup.
