How to Create Workflows Like Zapier in Bit Flows

As this is an WordPress plugin, you need to setup the environment on your WordPress website or localhost to get started creating your workflow automation unlike Zapier that only requires a signing in.

Step 1: Install the Plugin

Navigate to your WordPress dashboard> Plugins> Add Plugin and search it by name. Once you find the plugin, install and then activate it.

Step 2: Create Your First Flow

From the left sidebar on your WordPress dashboard, find Bit Flows and click to open the main dashboard. Click on the Create Flow to create your first flow. 

You can pick a template or start with a blank one. Give your workflow a name. And then click on the Create button.

Then you will find the visual canvas builder. On the builder, you will see all the apps, tools, and other functionalities to build complex workflows like Zapier.

Step 3: Choose a Trigger

Choose the app you want to automate and pick what event will start your automation. This could be a new form entry, an order, or another action. I am picking the WooCommerce trigger and “On New Order Create” as the event. You can choose whatever event you need.

Then we need to click the Listen Response button and place a test order to get the order details. This test will get all the required data that you need to map for the next step of automation.

I will send the order details to Google Sheets & Brevo. For this, I will use the router tool to branch the path and the Iterator tool to send multiple product data. This means if the customer purchases multiple products, the order details will go to the Google Sheet, and the customer’s email will be added to Brevo.

To include any tools, simply drag the tool and drop it into your workflow. And then configure it with your steps. Here, I have added the iterator (to send multiple product data) and router (to create two branches).

And now I need to add Google Sheets (Add Row event) and Brevo as the actions. Just click on the plus sign and select the preferred app.

You need to configure the actions with your credentials. And then need to map the field with the platform. For example, here I have mapped the Google Sheets column with WooCommerce fields. These will send the order details to the respective Google Sheets row.

Similarly, you need to connect Brevo and map the email field so that every new email will be added to Brevo.

You can add more actions and tools like condition, iterator, delay, JSON parser, and more if needed. There is no limit on steps or tasks, add as many as you need.

Step 5: Do a Test Run

After completing the flow configuration, run a test. The tool will show you each step so you can check if everything works in the Logs. If the test looks good, you are ready to go. It will now automatically respond whenever the trigger event occurs.
