A Guideline on How to Display Elementor Template Shortcode

Now, we will start the process of displaying the Elementor template shortcode using the Elementor page builder. We guess you use WordPress as your website’s dedicated Content Management System (CMS). We will complete the overall process through a stepwise guideline. 

Step 1: Install and activate the plugin

We will begin the process by installing a plugin called Piotnet Addons for Elementor, a plugin to increase the functionality of Elementor. This plugin makes the process way easier by generating an automated shortcode for each Elementor template you have. 

To begin the plugin installation process, go to your WordPress Dashboard Admin Menu bar and click on Plugins ➤ Add New. It will take you to the Add Plugins page. 

Now, write Piotnet Addons for Elementor in the Search plugins box. Once it’s visible in the search result, click on Install Now.

After installing the plugin on your website, click on Activate to make the plugin active on your website.

Step 2: Copy a shortcode from a saved template

As you have activated ‘Piotnet Addons for Elementor’ on your website, now all of your Elementor templates will have an automated generated separate shortcode. Now, you will need to copy the shortcode from the template you choose.

To do this, return to your WordPress Dashboard Admin Menu Bar and click on template ➤ Saved Template. You will be redirected to the ‘’Saved Templates’ page. Now, choose any template and copy the shortcode adjacent to it in the Shortcode row. Here you have selected a template named ‘Restaurant’ and copy the shortcode along with it. You have nothing else to do here.

Step 3: Add the copied shortcode of Elemetor template to a page

Now, it’s time to add the shortcode of the Elementor template you copied in the previous step to a page. For this, go to the Elementor Page Editor and write ‘Shortcode’ in the Search Widget bar. A widget named shortcode will automatically appear.

Next, drag the Shortcode widget on Drag widget here

Paste the Shortcode of Restaurant template in the specific Box. Once you have pasted the shortcode in the Box, you will see the preview of the Restaurant template on the right side of the Page Editor. Lastly, click on Apply to save all the changes you have made.
