SovWare’s WordCamp Dhaka 2025 Roundup
WordCamp Dhaka 2025 came to an end after two unforgettable days filled with learning, collaboration, and swags. However, the excitement started long before the event itself. The excitement just showed a glimpse in the moment of ticket sales.
The first batch sold out in just three minutes, and the second batch disappeared even faster. The demand was so high that organizers had to increase the ticket count. A big thanks to the organizers for making sure more people could join the event.
As scheduled, WordCamp Dhaka 2025 was held over two days – Conference Day on October 18 and Contributor Day on October 19.
SovWare, the team behind powerful brands like wpWax, Directorist, FormGent, HelpGent, Legal Pages Pro proudly participated in WordCamp Dhaka 2025 as a proud Lalbag Legacy (Platinum) Sponsor. This event has helped us to build a strong rapport with WordPress developers, entrepreneurs, marketers, and creators.
The venue whizzed with curiosity and creativity as participants exchanged their ideas, joined workshops, and explored services shaping the future of the web.
From the ticket purchase to the final applause, Wordcamp Dhaka 2025 proved once again that Bangladesh’s WordPress community is stronger than before.
This blog is not about sharing positive or negative sentiment about WordPress, it’s just a token of note where we’ll share SovWare’s full experience from booth highlights to community moments. Let’s begin.
Welcome at SovWare’s Booth

SovWare’s booth at WordCamp Dhaka 2025 was a hub of crowd full of WordPress enthusiasts, developers, freelancers, marketers and beyond. Participants tried their luck by playing the game we developed for them with sheer excitement.
We’re lucky enough to get a noticeable spot (P2) at the venue closer to the hall entry gate. And we also give our heart and soul to make it more vibrant and interactive. Our effort didn’t go in vain as we were done giving away most our gifts and swags within half-time. The combination of luck and effort turns into a favorite spot for attendees as some of them grabbed exciting prizes.
At the booth, we showcased logo of our products – Directorist, FormGent, HelpGent, Legal Pages, Product Carousel, Post Grid etc. Our team was on hand to guide attendees, explain features, and share tips to get the most out of each product.

We not only stuck around in product demos but also offered cool swags. We offered attendees fun games, where hundreds participated eagerly. The number of participants was mind-blowing. Although the number was big, none of the participants left bare-handed. Everyone had a chance to win exclusive swag.

However, the presence of attendees in SovWare’s booth at WordCamp Dhaka 2025 is truly unforgettable.
Learning and Engagement
Conference Day

The conference day hosted a number of speakers talking about WordPress, security, marketing, their journey and product management. A long list of Bangladesh-based WordPress company founders, community leaders and remote professionals had been on the stage to speak about latest trend, technology and AI.
Beyond the excitement at our booth, the SovWare team members also participated in insightful sessions and discussions throughout the WordCamp Dhaka 2025 conference day. And on top of that, we received the crest as a token of appreciation for becoming one of the platinum sponsors of WordCamp Dhaka 2025.

Starting with the dynamic professionals like Sumit Saha and ending with veteran Hasin Hyder had been the highlight of the session. But one of the biggest highlights of the day came at the end when a surprise closing keynote by none other than Matt Mullenweg, the co-founder and CEO of WordPress was broadcasted on screen.
His virtual presence made the crowd cheerful as he thanked the Bangladeshi WordPress community for arranging the event and shared his thoughts on the power of community collaboration, and the upcoming features of WordPress. It was a moment of true inspiration for everyone in attendance.
At the end of the day, there was a Raffle Draw for All Attendees. The fun added an extra boost when an air ticket was won by one of our very own SovWare team members! The closing ceremony also featured award presentations, group photos, and countless smiling faces.
Contribution Day

The Contributor Day of WordCamp Dhaka 2025 took place on Sunday, 19 October 2025 right after the conference day. The venue was at the American International University Bangladesh (AIUB). Several members of the SovWare team also joined this event.
